They Are Circling In
July 10, 2026
“What’s the worst thing that could happen?” Binca joked.
Phineas and the others forced chuckles at her effort.
“Right,” Hodge blurted. “We’re here together – that’s good, yes?”
Phineas nodded despite the tightening in his chest. Yes, the few were crowded on the lighthouse lantern, but they couldn’t cross the sea yet. And too many were lost crossing the land.
“Together’s always better, yes,” Phineas said. “And sister, hopefully, we won’t get on each other’s nerves. Again.”
The honest chortles snapped off as Hodge went white and pointed up.
“They are circling in,” he choked out.
Phineas bowed.
“Goodbye, my friends.”
